So glad your journey is a happy one.... as it should be!

That is good news about Dr. Fowler's status. I'm sure that will raise the bar for everyone.

Aren't those labs fun?!

Take care and continued success!

Thanks Keala!

I also got a call from Nicole today and she really is very sweet.  I'm sure it really was that they are
very busy but  me being so anxious and not feeling in control of the situation made me ansy.

I appreciated the call today from Nicole since she was spending the holiday with her family and made an exception to settle my nerves.  Show's alot on her part and the practice.  That made me feel much more comfortable about everything.  I know Dr. Cirangle is an excellent surgeon and his office staff does try their best to make things move smoothly.

Thanks again everybody!!

That is great news that you heard from Nicole.  I think they just may be struggling with a busy practice....  I hope all goes smoothly with HMSA for your surgery approval.  Sounds like you are on your way!

Hey guys,,,,,In a few months, his practice will be recognized as a Center of Excellence!!  It has been under Provisional Status (which basically just means they are wating for the papers to be signed) since January but now it will be a Center of Excellence!!  Thats so awesome!!  I went to my pre-op on Wednesday and Dr. Fowler told me all this!
Anyways my pre-op went well but just took forever...i was there for 3 hours...most of it was just signing papers and going over post-op care...blah, blah!  They also took my blood to test for H.Pylori, pregnancy (Oh hell no, I pray that I am NOT preggo) and HbA1c!  The lab guy was a very flamy gay guy who has sooo much energy but he is very nice!! In fact, so far I have not encountered one rude staff member yet and hope i never do.  Even the janitors are nice.  Anyways thats about it.  aloha!

Mahalo! It doesn't seem like 6 months have passed. In the beginning it seemed that time was dragging... and *****ally wants to see time fly, but at the same time I was SO anxious to see results and only time produces results. So! Now that I am almost 6 months out, the reality is setting in. It is weird how our minds need time to catch up, though. The clothes don't fit so you get new/used ones, you can cross your legs, your jewelry fits, you have more space behind the wheel of the car, the cat jumps in your lap because you HAVE a lap! All wonderful things!!! Yet, my self image has still not caught up! But, it does make me smile when these little things happen and I have a reality check!

Again, mahalo for the good wishes. Soon I'll be congratulating you on your 6 month surgiversary! ((hugs))

Thanks Makena!

No Explanation but she did say she's resending it????(the email)   I didn't get anything earlier but, at this point, I'm just happy to have things moving again.

Take care and congrats on your success!!  Just a few days now from your 6month surgiversary. Yay

I am so happy for you. What a great day to be thankful, too! Good luck with your insurance. I was a self-pay, so I didn't need to wait for anything once the pre-op tests were done. I was READY!!!
Was any explanation given as to why you had to wait so long to hear back?
Anyway... again.... sending you aloha....
((hugs))
