I am on Tues. Dec. 9th. Leaving for SF on Saturday. I think I am prepared -- Lauren called me today and they needed a bunch of my test results. I emailed my PCP from Kaiser and she responded in 1 hour! She is the best Kaiser doc ever!
I think HiGurl is next week also, and there is someone else right?
Three in one week -- that seems big for our little but mighty group!
Anyway -- I just want to thank everyone for all the pre-surgery support -- I have learned so much from everyone. Looking forward to being a big loser!

I printed out the Nexium discount card that Asia recommended and saved some money....i only paid $25.00 for it at Wal Mart...still expensive for my budget but a lot better than paying $177.00 which is the price without insurance!! So if you havent printe dit out and you need Nexium, go to www.purplepill.com...okay?

My story pretty much is the same as Asia's actually (nahealani)..suprising we not related! Nah, but i based my decision on pretty much the same thing too.....HMSA covering it and i personally didnt want anything foreign in my body that i would have to keep refilling or whatevers so i chose the RNY. My BMI is only 40 so HMSA will not cover VSG with that BMI range. The decision is entirely yours and Makena is right...do your research...very important! Good luck
