Hi everyone:

Yesterday I had the PT appt and then Psy consult.  I was a little worried about the Psy consult w/ Dr Lovette.  I just didn't know what to expect.  I just filled out some  bubble type tests and we went over them.  Dr Lovette said that she is supplying Dr Fowlers office with the tests so that people can complete them before they come for the visit. 

Dr Lovette really didn't go into much detail about my eating issues honestly.  She just asked me a few questions and came up w/ a diagnosis that yep I have an eating disorder.  I think that was needed for HMSA paperwork.  I was thinking that I really don't have a certain "disorder", I just like to eat.  I just eat whatever I want when I want it.  Maybe that could be just a lack of self control.  Anywhoo, I just wanted to let everyone know that the meeting with Dr Lovette was pretty easy.

The Physical Therapy appt was basically following the therapist around and doing a few stretches, sit ups, blood pressure and heart rate.  Thats all nothing to it.

My sleep apnea test is on Dec 29th.  I think that is gonna be pretty interesting cause I know I snore.  My husband said he can hear me in the living room from the bedroom which is down the hall.  Isn't that terrible.  I tell him to go to bed before me and he won't have to wear ear plugs.  Hopefully the snoring will end after I shed some weight. 

The Dietitian & Exercise Specialist is scheduled for Jan 15 so I hope right after that I will have my surgery.

Thanks so much.  I am trying to not worry about what others think of me but let me tell you it felt good to have people complimenting me and looking at the party!!

I will definately try to have fun.  I am not too good at taking compliments but at the party I couldn't stop smiling!!  I am sure it will get easier as time goes on.

My first ever little black dress!!  And it was free.  A lady on the lap band forum posted it and asked if anyone wanted it I said "I DO I DO!!!!"  She mailed it to me!!  I think I am going to have to keep a little black dress in my closet at all times!!  Thanks Makena!!
