Happy New Year to all of you. I am so happy this is the first year in a long time that I will not wake up tomorrow and start my " diet " I am now learning to live and eat healthy and this surgery has changed my life. I am offically down 19 lbs since surgery and feel great. Thanks to all of you for your wisdom and support and I wish you all a great new year. Sara

Yah i'd like it..thanks..i cant wait to have a support group meeting as a WLS patient!! I only went to seminars!! LOL..anyways c u there!

I had a similar experience before....but I was already asleep when the tech came in and try to stick the cpap mask on my face. OMG..I thought I was going to freak out! I feel your pain.

Come for sure! Of course he won't mind. Patients are all in the same boat, regardless of the surgeon. Plus, I want to see how you are doing! By the way, I have a before picture of you, if you ever want it.

Does not sound like fun! Well, just think, It's over and done and closer to surgery you go!

For a lack of better words the sleep study totally sucked.
I checked in at 8pm and had a nice room that looked like a hotel room. Then the tech came in and plugged me up to 15 or so wires. I could not go to sleep. I think I stayed awake until midnight. Then the tech kept coming in to fix the wires that had come undone. I tired to sleep so I wouldn't pull any of those freakin wires out anymore.
About 2:30 the tech came back in and hooked me up to the CPAP machine. The CPAP covered my nose and I breathed thru that and fell back to sleep until 5:30am.
Not a fun night. Just plain wierd. I hope I don't have to do that again.
I'm off to bed to take a nap.
