Hi everyone.  I got a surgery date w/ Dr. Fowler set for Feb 3.  I just can't even believe it.  I really have to get my **** in order.  

I haven't even told my job that I am having surgery.  I have to let them know something this week.  I really didn't want to tell them I was having gastric bypass as I don't think it's any of their business.  So, I got to come up w/ something.  I was thinking of just saying it was personal and I needed a week to recover.  I sit at a desk at work so I'm hoping that a week is all I need.  I'll just take my own vacation time.

I've been over weight for so long that I really haven't ever dreamed of myself as being a thin person because nothing has ever worked for me.  I'm kinda afraid of really believing this is gonna work.  Does that make sense to anyone?

I just pray that this is the end of a long FAT person journey for me and a new start.

Hi Everyone!!!

I got the best news today!  I am approved!!!!

Let me tell you, Nicole at Dr. C's office is now my most absolute favorite person!  We got off on a bumpy start but she has gone above and beyond anything I could have expected.

Tomorrow I will find out when I fly to San Francisco, but I now have a tentative date of Jan 13 or 14th!!!  Can you believe it?  WOOOHOOO that's next week!!!

I can't wait to join you all on the losers bench!!!

Do you know if that only comes in Choc & Strawberry?  I found a sf hershey's chocolate today but couldn't find any other flavors in sf.
