Any Patients of Dr. Fowler @ Castle?

Just wondering what you think of him and the program at Castle? I need to have a band revision and my HMO department really wants me to see someone here locally rather than head over to San Fran for Dr. Cirangle to fix it.

I've never heard of him.. sorry! Maybe someone else here will have? Anyways, wanted to wish you luck figuring it out!

Hi Linda! I sent you an e-mail earlier, but I think it got lost in cyberspace!! I just wanted to let you know that I have heard of Dr. Fowler. He is from the Honolulu Medical Group. He is fairly new to this field and just recently opened the bariatric department at Castle. I would really look into his past experience before making a final decision. Personally I would have your revision done by Dr. Paul Cirangle. I had lap rny by him on January 10, 2005. He is such an awesome and knowledgeable surgeon in his field. He is also using a new procedure instead of the lap rny which is less evasive because the intestine is not re-rerouted. This is only my opinion, I realize that you need to do what is best in your situation. But remember that we only have one body. Take care and have a blessed week!!! Aloha, Pat

Yes!!! I am a patient of Dr. Steven Fowler. His nurse (Ana) and he are great!!! I LOVE THEM BOTH!! I had my lap-band surgery on Tuesday, Aug. 26 at Castle Medical Center. I felt spoiled. They took care of me and I called Ana in the middle of the night (after surgery) because I had a bad case of "gas pains". She directly called the nurses station and they uped the dose on my pain medications which helped me relax so I could sleep. I would go through him again. He's young and very knowleadgeable. He is also a general surgeon, so currently he has his lap-band surgeries on Tuesday's and other surgery's the rest of the week. My sister is also going through him for her surgery. Best of Luck!!
