Aloha!

Hi My name is Joan, I had WLS (VG) 3 weeks ago. I've been lurking on the different boards, so thought I'd introduce myself. I live on Kauai. I had surgery with Dr Cirangle in San Francisco. The first week was really hard, but I've been doing better each day, some ups and downs. Its been hard to get enough fluids, but i'm working on it. I haven't weighed in yet, but my clothes are getting looser. Aloha, Joan

Hello Joan!!! Congrats on just having your surgery done!!!! I hope everything goes well for you. I am only 3 days post-op, so I haven't totally gotten into the swing of things yet, I just do what I can. It sounds like you are doing fantastic though, and YAYYYYYY for the looser clothes, that has got to be exciting!!! Take care

Hi Joan! Congratulations on your surgery! It's great to find someone else from Kauai. What did you like better about the VG, as opposed to other options? I'm still learning about them all myself! Keep us updated on your progress, I'm anxious to rejoice with everyone, and inspire myself (and us all) on to success!

Congratulations Joan! Are you planning to go on the cruise in November? Don't worry about getting ALL of the daily fluid goals in just yet. You are still early out. It gets easier. Hopefully I will get to meet you some day. I want sooo badly to go to Kauai! I've heard is beautiful out there. Steffie
