HMSA pays for flights!!

How cool is that?!?!?!? Since I am on a neighboring island (Kauai) HMSA pays for airfare to refferal doctors on Oahu!! Yeah!! That will make this so much more doable for us! It means all I will have to pay for besides co-pays will be my Dietician appts. Thus - one more obstacle I don't have to overcome to get this done!! YAY!!

I have a refferal to see Dr. Belfour and Huang at Straub.. I'm not 100% convinced yet though that they are best for me. I will go to my consult and see how confident I feel after that.. the problem is that Dr. Belfour only does open RNY, and Dr. Huang is new to bariatric surgery!! She does it lap, but I don't think she's done very many at all! That worries me a little bit.
