OK guys...I'm getting nervous and scared and excited and everything in between for my surgery...LOL, and for the plane ride---I hate flying!! I am not really scared of the pain factor of the surgery, I am scared that I will somehow screw things up for myself--if that makes any sense....I have spent so many years waiting for this surgery and so many years reading about what to do and expect that now my brain feels like a fried piece of mush!!! My husband is on deployment until the day we fly out of here, so I have nobody to I guess "console and comfort" me, LOL, if those are the right words. I think this is where you guys' support and prayers really would mean a lot to mean and be soooooo much appreciated...probably more than you could ever know. Thanks so much for reading

Hi Jessica! Congratulations on getting your surgery date!!! I know how important receiving that information can be!!! I will keep you in my thoughts and prayers. I know that God will be watching over you and your surgeon so that your surgery will be one without any complications. I will also pray for a speedy recovery. Just remember that we are all here to support and comfort you, whenever you need it. Just holler!!! I am a little over a year post op, and I can't begin to tell you what a blessing this surgery has been for me. I am not only healthier but also happier. My only regret is that I did not do it sooner. I think here in Hawaii, only just recently within the past maybe 2 years has WLS become an option that we were aware of. I know that people have become much more aware of it and are actually seeking out the different options. My surgeon comes from San Francisco and does surgery here at Pali Momi Hospital. I just had a TT on March 6 and am currently recovering from that. Take care and God Bless you and yours!!! Have a wonderful week and think only pleasant and positive thoughts. Aloha, Pat 261/147/125
