I got a surgery Date!!

I got a date--AGAIN!! I found a new surgeon...with Steffie's help...I had so much frustration with the first surgeon I chose and it made me lose my mind. But, my new date is April 11th, and my pre-op date is April 10th. My surgery is going to be in San Pedro, CA. I am sooo friggen excited!!!!

Congratulations! I should be finding out tomorrow if I will get a surgery date since I'm meeting with Dr. Murayama...hoping for an April date too!

Ahh ok I guess I late reading this before I asked you about your surgery. So Dr. Owens is gonna do your surgery in San Pedro huh. You will really like Dr. Owens. He has a very serious presence but he is also very comforting. I am wishing you the best of success and an easy time with your recovery. Steffie

Congratulations Jessica!! I'm hoping for my surgery date sometime in April. I started this process last June and here I am..FINALLY done with pre-op tests and my psych evals. It was a Lonnnng process but I'm nearing the end. I have to have a stress test on the 28th at Tripler because my EKG showed a little something. After that hopefully it will be smooth sailing. Is everything still ok for your Apr. 11th date? I was gonna call you today but I knew if I sat my butt down to make a call I would have never got up and finished my spring cleaning. Finally tomorrow we are taking the abundance of accumulated crap to the storage unit so I don't feel so suffocated in this place. What day are you rolling outta here to go to Cali? Steffie

We're leaving April 9th (the same day my hubby comes home!!)..an overnight flight, so we get there first thing in the morning on the 10th, and we come home April 19th.
