10 Day Liquid Diet Prior To Surgery?

Can I get a head count of who had to do the 10-day liquid diet prior to having WLS. Thanks!

For my Adjustable Lap Band I believe I only did 1 or 2 days of liquids prior to surgery. Paula

Thanks for the response! I'm just asking because alot of people say that have to do a 10 liquid diet...and some don't. Guess it all depends on your doctors/surgeons. When I meet with my surgeon that's one of my questions I'm asking. *=) Hoping to do 1-2 days liquid, or none if possible.

Hi there for me it was liquids on 1 day only before surgery. Wow then days is allot, well youll get a head start on the weightloss. hehehehe take care

And you lost 100 pounds already? WOW! I can't wait till I'm 100+ pounds less too.

Kris- I only had 1 day before surgery of liquids. I have heard other people say up to 2 weeks.
