Hawaiian Waters Get Together

Ok Feb 4th get together? Whos up for it? Is Hawaiian Waters too much of a financial Stretch for a get together? Is Feb. 4th too short of notice? I want to focus on family friendly because I know most of us military ladies husbands or wives are going to be on training deployments for the next several weeks and will have the kids. At least I will and I know of a couple of others as well that this is the scenario. If Feb. 4th is too short of notice, maybe do this a little later? I am leaving Feb 17th for Cali for my surgery on the 21st so I will be decomissioned for a little bit after. I wanted to have the oppotunity to meet everyone prior to. If anyone wants to do a lunch instead, please let me know. Even if we just do a one on one thing. Again I will have my child with me as well as others so lets all be sensitive to that when finalizing the plans. Steffie

Uh...I'm going to have to pass. Not exactly sure anybody wants to see me in a bathing suit just yet! LOL And it's fairly pricey too. I'll catch the next get together.

If there is something else you would like to do then please do suggest. I am pre-op as well and am not feeling the greatest about my body. I was just grasping for straws to think of something to do with the kids too. Steffie

Well, I would suggest going to the zoo...it's cheap, kids love it, we can walk and get some exercise out of it, take some "before" pics of each other lol, etc. I know the parking is a hassle, but if we start early and get there before it opens (and the beach people start taking all the parking spaces) we should be good. Have a little picnic or something? Nothing real extravagant since we'd have to drag everything in the gate.

I forgot all about the zoo! Gotta be more than just us. Waiting for more people to say they want to come. If not then we can plan occordingly. Steffie

wow i just went to the Zoo yesterday, had loads of fun cand wait till the keiki zoo will open ??? any idea when ?? if yall go let me know ^_^

Aloha, I think it is way too cold for the waterpark....it has been so cold lately!! Maybe a park get together or something... I really like Dixies Grill in Aiea!! But anywhere is good for me.... Actually I am planning on going to the Pro Bowl FREE practice at the Aloha Stadium on Thurs.....anyone interested?
