O.T. Cheap Ideas?

Hello, hoping someone here may have a few ideas, I have the chance to go to Hawaii in April to cellebrate my 1 year post-op, but it's looking pretty expensive for the lodging, any ideas of where someone could stay that would be cheap but a safe place? Are you contected with the Dept of Defense in anyway- they have some nice places that are inexpensive.... Victoria
