Update!

Hello everyone! I just got word from Blue Cross yesterday (August 25) that I am approved for the Roux-en Y procedure! I am so thankful to be over that hurdle and now can focus on the upcoming surgery. The surgeon's office (Dr. Sundberg, Boone) said that I will get a surgery date next week (their nurse coordinator is on vacation this week). Right now they think it will be late September into the first week, or so, of October. I am so thankful for the approval phase to be complete. Now on to pre-op tests and exams and then the surgery.
