Moving to Hawaii

I'm 9 days post op. I'm feeling pretty good. I'm kinda concerned we are moving to Hawaii at the end of Jan. By that time I will be 5 months post op. My husband is in the Navy so we will be at Kanehoe Bay. My question is about a clothing exchange. Is there one in this area.

Hi Christy! My husband is in the Army and we live on Oahu. Are you asking about a NEX type exchange, or the one you would do with another post op?

Christy, Dave here, I understand about a clothing exchange, I am a pre-bariatric patient in the final phases of preps. Our support group does have a clothing exchange program, (Kaiser Permanente). When you get here let me know and I will make some phone calls, as I know plenty of people in our gorup that could use the clothing.

yes there is a clothig exchange. I live over in schofield barracks. At Tripler Army hospital we have a support group that meets once a month. We do bring in clothes to exchange. HOpe this helps. If you need any more info let me know. linda
