Question about HMSAQuest

Hi,
Um, so I'm "hoping" to get the gastric bypass but I'm not to sure about the guidelines for HMSAQuest. I was wondering if anyone else did. What are the requirements? I'm anxious due to having to wait 2 weeks for their decision (yea, I'm already at that point where I sent in my claim) but figured I would like to know my chances prior to hearing their answer so I can prepare.

Also, does HMSAQuest cover any plastic surgery DUE to the surgery? I think I heard somewhere they do but it has to be health related. I'm not to sure.

After surgery, keep a record with your doctor. As soon as you get a rash, or anything that has to do with extra skin problems, visit your PCP and have them record it. When the time comes, insurance company will look at how much of a medical problem having all the extra skin is causing.
