My surgery is on! Finally!
Holy cow! This has been such a roller coaster ride. I had a specific time I hoped to have the surgery otherwise, I'd have to wait until June. My patience isn't that good. So with the help of Lori and the rest of the Castle team, I'll be banded on the 18th! Exactly when I hoped it would be! I'm excited and nervous and so worried I'll do something wrong or blah blah blah blah. I've read through my Passport a couple of times and will probably read it several more times. I know, I'll silly about it, but I really don't want to screw this up.
Here we go!

Hey Scooby,
CONGRATULATIONS!!! I'll be rolling out as you are rolling in!! Let's stay in touch. Now that the date is so close for me (and you too of course), I am freaking out. What I realized today as I was stocking up on Crystal Light was that I have no idea what my life will be like without the 100+ pounds I'm carrying. Like you, I'm concerned about screwing it up as well. The best I can do is to keep looking ahead. We will be comparing notes I'm sure.
All the best, m'dear.
Aloha,
Coleen

Girl, I'm right there with you! Thank you for sharing your fears because It helps me so much to know others struggles. You are so right that we need to keep looking ahead. I've been so wrapped up in the process, I haven't remembered to envision the future. There are lots of things I stopped doing either because I couldn't or because I was too embarrassed by my size. My direct email address is [email protected] which would make it a little easier to communicate directly.
May the force be with you, my friend!
