Home at last.
HI everyone.
Just wanted to let you know I made it home yesterday. I'm just taking it easy.
I'm having a hard time even getting down the liquids on the list from the nut. I can barely even get down 2oz maybe every couple of hours of liquid. Did any of you experience that?
I'm doing pretty good otherwise. Not in alot of pain just moving slow.
Take Care
Debbie

Just follow your doctor's orders... sip, sip, sip... (you need to force yourself to keep up with it)..... walk, walk, walk.... rest, rinse, and repeat!
So glad you're home and everything went well for you. How wonderful you're not in a lot of pain, too. I experienced next to none and didn't even break into my pain meds.
Continued success. Focus and pamper yourself for a while. It's a wonderful journey that we're on!
((hugs))

Hi Debbie!
Isn't it good to be home and on the other side? I'm so happy everything went well and you're not having any pain.
As far as the water, I couldn't get them down either for the first couple days. I requested to stay in the hospital on the IV because I was too scared of getting dehydrated. I think it wasn't until the end of the first week when I felt I could start taking in more. I think about 32oz. The second week I forced myself to have a bottle with me all the time and at least every 5 minutes take a drink. I'm almost 4 weeks out and can finally take in about 80oz but I still have to make a huge effort to get that down.
It'll get better slowly but surely.
Congrats and welcome to the losers bench!!!
