New to Hawaii

Hi everyone!  I just moved here from Virginia.  We are military and are stationed at Kanoehe Bay Marine Base.  I had RNY surgery on Oct. 8.  Anyone else here on the marine base?  I'm anxious to meet new friends and find a support group!

 Thanks for the reply!  I'm definitely going to be a regular here on the board.  I am doing very well post-op.  The first few weeks were pretty rough, but time flew by and now I am doing great.  Merry christmas to you!

Hi Missy.  I am from Kaneohe and I know that you will love it here.  Please call Castle Weightloss Center to see if you can attend our Monthly support group meetings.  The number is 263-5050.  We meet every first Monday.  If not try and call Triplers Weightloss Center.  Good luck.

 Hi Sara!  I would love to meet you - we are currently living in Pearl, but just got a house on the marine base and will be moving there after Christmas.  I'll be ready for walking soon!  Merry Christmas!
