Hi Asia- Well, now I don't know if I'll try it or not. Someone told me that it's(Liqua-cel) made of colagen which is very low quality kind of protein. I can't find it in the stores and when I went looking online from the company that makes it and also Amazon.com, the product costs $33-$35 and shipping is $65. Ridiculous. I drank the Nectar fuzzy navel for a while then couldn't stomach it after 3 tries, I returned it to the Vitamin Shoppe. I got credit and in exchange got another drink called Protein Blitz, tried a new flavor (Mango-orange) and promptly broke out in hives on my face! Me and my protein is one hamajang, kukai story! The hunt never ends for the perfect one that will suit me. I don't give up.

Just at a quick glance.... comparing it to the New Whey Protein Bullets, they are about the same cost, convenience, and nutrition per ounce. Seems it's only available in Grape flavored while the New Whey comes in a variety of flavors.
I mix the 42 g bullets into a 20 oz. drinking bottle and splash in some SF Kool Aid concentrate (that we mix using Splenda and keep in a bottle in the fridge) and the rest of the bottle gets filled with water and ice. I drink that all morning long at work, so it's a gradual intake of protein (which is advised) and gets me through until lunch. I never could tolerate food in the morning and am usually crunched for time. Also helps me push liquids for the morning.
I'm really satisfied with the bullets, so I don't know if I'd switch or even try it. Some of them can be pretty nasty, as you know.
If you're having trouble finding something you like, go for it. Try everything you can. You need protein for health and success. Not sure about the quality, though, either. Keep reading and investigate all your options until you have something you will stick to religiously.

Thanks Makena. I am at my wit's end. I discovered that I may very well be allergic to whey. I had a second bottle of protein blitz, different flavor, and for the second time broke out in hives. I looked at the ingredients and it could be the whey that's the problem. Someone told me to try SF Carnation instant breakfast because it was not whey based protein. I finally found it at a Safeway store but it's no real help to me because it has only 5 grams of protein per drink with 7 grams of sugar . I wish I could use the bullets. It would ensure that I'd get enough protein everyday. I have got to solve this problem soon. I'm 5 weeks out and still struggling. Carla
Wow... that's rough, Carla. Do you have a nutritionist at your service who you can talk to about this? They can probably give you some suggestions since they're in the business of food. Getting sufficient protein is extremely important for success. Be wary of a LOT of products and read the labels carefully. Sometimes there are SO many sugars or carbs that you'll be sabotaging yourself. Best to you always.
Thankfully, my nut just called me back. She suggests some soy-based protein like Gensoy or Soy Protein 95. So I will be looking into that. You are so right, we have to read the labels and know what we are looking for. Anyway, I hope this will be the last of my protein "hunt".
Good health to you...... Carla
