Met with Dr Fowler on Thursday

 Hello everyone.  

I had my first meeting w/ Dr Fowler on Thursday.  It went pretty good.  So hopefully in a few weeks, I'll get approved and start the rest of the process.  I'm still not sure if I'll do the bypass or the band.  I'm leaning toward the bypass because I fear that I will figure out a way to over eat w/ the band.  I'm just not sure which way to go.  

Asia:  I'm going to see Dr Samsami next week so I can have a PCP that has experience with Gastric patients so thank u for the referral.  

Thanks to everyone for all the advice.  I'll keep you posted as I go along.

Good luck.  You will love them both.  I think Dr. Samsami and Dr. Fowler are the best.  They are changing my life.  Without Dr. Samsami I wouldn't even think about these wls procedures.

Congrads!!   I found him to be so wonderful.  I was so scared when I had my first appt.  and he really was so kind.   I am going to do the lap band and am very excited to get it done and get a fresh start.  Good luck .  Sara
