I'm coming to Hawaii in December!

Hi everyone - I'm moving to Hawaii in December and I am having my RNY on Wednesday, Oct. 8.  I am so excited to see this hawaii forum here.  This website is wonderful.  I am pretty nervous about my surgery - today I did bowel prep (ugh) and I got through that.  Tomorrow just more clear liquids and then Wednesday is my big day.  I just wanted to introduce myself - my name is Missy also.  Blessings.

Good to meet you too!  So you are from Lewisville, TX?  We are currently living in Virginia Beach, Virginia, but we are Texans.  We moved here December 2006 from Tyler, TX .  We lived in Tyler for 10 years and before that we were in Wichita Falls.  My husband is Navy and we are moving to Kanohe Bay on the marine base.  We're so excited to be moving there - we have 3 grown kids who all live there.  Anyway, good to meet you, congrats on your move.

Just thought I would say hi and welcome to Hawaii (alittle early)  Just thought I would share I am moving to Texas on the first of January!!!  I live in Kaneohe and love it here but we are moving closer to family. There is a lot of moving going on around here!!  Good Luck on your move.

The big day is almost here for you, and you found the right board for support.  I am new also, and this Hawaii board is very helpful.  I have learned to appreciate them a lot in the very short time I have been here.  Good luck and blessings on your journey.

Thanks - yes, it's almost here - and I will be glad when its come and gone!  I am so hungry right now - no solid food since last Friday - I will be glad to move forward.

Small world huh?? I grew up in that area. Graduated from Gladewater high school. We spent a lot of time in Tyler. I still have family about 30 minutes out of Tyler. We are so excited to be moving. Just worried about the economy, and not having jobs lined up. Our kids are grown and gone so we are living for ourselves now...lol

I hope you are feeling well, I will be checking back in to see how you are doing. Let us know....good luck and have a speedy recovery. Glad to know you guys are so freindly.   We may need a friendly face once we get there!
