duuuude...seriously... no rice...ever!!!  it swells up in your pouchie and can hurt so much you'll think your dying!!
My first 4 months  my basic food consisted of 2-4 small slices of sashimi..if you like the cabbage and pickled ginger put the veggies in food processor and chop fine..have to eat it with a fork but tastes divine and pouchie loves it!!  I also had small amounts of burger meat..I am 2 years out and down from 292 to 158.  I can order from anywhere but still do not eat any bread (except ocasional piece of toast with sugar free jam) and have tried rice a few times but it hurts too much.  Starches and carbs are what we should avoid for this to work we have to work it!
Good luck ! Hang in there!

I was going to start a new post but thought I would use this one. I am thinking of things I am planning to eat post op during my soft stage and I was thinking tofu, can salmon, spam, lunch meat wrapped with cheese, chili, spagetti sauce with cheese o ya lots and lots of poke. My husband eats it every day with his beer. I think I will be able to take 4 pieces from him every night. I love lomi oio for the pure stage I think that will be really good. I am thinking about lomi ahi also. I am so glad we live in Hawaii to be able to eat many other things. I don't know what yogart fage is and I looked around and don't know what it is so I guess I ain't trying it. Anyones input would be greatly appreciated.

Okay....all together I lost 43 lbs in one month.  Because I felt like crap lately I had to run some test make sure I didn't have a leak.  I am okay...trying to find out why I was heaving so much.

I wish I was a raw fish eater, but never liked it.  I can eat the imitation crab.  Oh what about the salmon...lomilomi salmon.  I think  I can handle that...maybe I should go highway inn.  What about the chicken laulau?  Its nice and soft.

Yeah, anymore suggestions would be nice, and no worry...I get the point "NO rice!!!"  What about potato crab/tuna salad?

Anyone knows what is Potassium CHloride?  What is that for?  Do we eat banana's if we are low on potassium?
