Hew to Hawaii

Hi, my name is terri and i had my band placed 9-24-04! We just moved to Hawaii 3 days ago. I am a military wife stationed at Hickam AFB. I am in desparate need of a fill. Do you have any recommendations for me. I prefer a doc that uses a flouro. I had to have my fill removed because of health problems and now i need it back in before I eat everything on this beautiful Island!!!!

Hi Terri.....I lived in Hawaii for 21 yrs and you might want to check w/Tripler Hosp. They can probably refer you to someone or check w/Queens Hospital. Good luck to you!  How do you like the Island? I lived in Waipahu & retired from the Telephone Co there (well an early retirement).  Alice

Hi Terri, I too have a band from 12/07/04.  It's not often I find someone with a band as old as mine.  I had my band done by Brandt Lapschies.  Also Steven Fowler from Castle Hospital does a lot of lap bands.  Good Luck! Paula

Oh and i also forgot to say that I got to meet with Dr. Fowler. WOW!!! He is so nice and gentle. I have to admit i was very scared because he didnt use a floro but he hit my port on the first try and was so gentle......I still need another fill because I was wide open for the most part and I am still consuming all the awesome food Hawaii has to offer. Gosh why does all the food here have to be so dang good. I did finally get a referral to get my fills done at tripler so lets just see how that goes. If its not as good as the treatment I got with Dr. Fowlers office i will go back to him. Oh and forgive please, But wow he is handsome too!!!!!! hahahahaha. Just had to throw that in.....

Dr. fowler is a good looking man!!  i do agree.... and so glad that you got toget your fills done!!  Thats great..... so anyway..take care!!
