What's everyone doing this weekend besides going food shopping for Thanksgiving???

Aloha! I am working tomorrow, 7 to 3. I'll use the time to map out my shopping stragey for the day AFTER Thanksgiving. Then have study group from 3 to 6 (taking the medical coding exam in 3 weeks) then at 7 going to see the Bee Movie with my grandson. Chuy is 4 and cant stop talking about it. Oh, and then planning out our next trip to Hawaii.. when the day gets overwhelming I just close my eyes and remember how happy I was out in Hawaii... (sigh) We got our turkey already..and since I am on the turkey/stuffing committee I dont have too much more to shop for. What else are you doing ?

I'm trying to do only Online Shopping for Christmas this year today. We'll see how that goes.........feels weird though. Like i'm having a hard time getting into the Xmas spirit without seeing the store decorations, hearing christmas music and hearing the Salvation Army people ring their bell for donations........LOL

Bee movie was great! I brought my 3 and 9 year old and the 3 year old jus loved it. It was cute! Hmmmm......turkey day. Going to my grandma's house and she's not a turkey fan. She doesn't even wanna cook! So she suggested Safeway $55 for everything already cooked, ham instead of turkey and it feeds 6-8 people. Fine by me! I am sooo not interested in the kitchen anymore either since I had my surgery cause I prepare this big ole meal and then take 5 bites and am full.

Did you used to live here in Hawaii? Or are you a repeat visitor? Which island?
