Hey Hawaii!

I am currently a resident of Illinois, but this August I'll be moving to Oahu to work with the Hawaiian International Film Fest with my roommate. I'll be roughly 3 months post-op then and I'm so excited!

This is not only a "Hello, I'll be joining you soon!" but a cry for help as well. I need to stay in the Honolulu/Waikiki area because our home office will be in downtown Honolulu and I'll be relying on public transportation to get to work and back. If there are any apartment complexes that have reasonable to cheap rent or realtors I should contact, please let me know!

OUCH - rent here is SO expensive. There's no such thing as reasonable to cheap rent. You can check out rentals at craigslist.com or honoluluadvertiser.com. You should plan on paying at least $1000 a month for a tiny space. If you see something that looks interesting and want information on the location, etc. send me a private message.
