Hi Carol....I have called you in my mind a dozen times, but didn't pick up the phone. How ARE you doing? I just got home (today) from my 3 month checkup with Dr. Weber, and it was a breeze. I could have done it by phone! He says 44 lb. loss is excellent...I told him I wished it were more, but he pooh poohed that, and said just keep doing what I'm doing and it will all come off when it's supposed to. As far as calcium, I had the same problem. I ordered UpCal in a powder form and I put it in my protein shakes. It has no taste, so could probably go into any drink. It solved the problem for me. I also take two of the calcium citrate pills....I cut them in half and they go down fine. The site for the UpCal is: http://www.med-diet.com/upcal-d.htm I hope you are doing great, and feeling wonderful. I WILL call you one of these days very soon. My son, DIL and their two babies are arriving on Sat. for 10 days so I will be busy busy. Babies are tiny (8 months and 27 months) and I will be babysitting while kids go to Lahaina for Halloween and then again for two days when they go to Honolulu for a wedding. I'm a little nervous...I haven't been with babies since my sons were babies. But I will get the hang of it I'm sure. I won't be at webstiles Fri. because friends are coming to town and we are going out to dinner. Aloha nui loa, KarenS

I use the Bariatric Advantage Calcium Citrate pills...you just suck on it like candy till it desolves in your mouth. The cinnamon one tastes pretty good, so does the chocolate one too. Queens POB I carries Bariatric Advantage stuff and the Beneprotein powders. Sorry, I just realized you're on Maui. They do sell it online as well, or try and check GNC or VitaminWorld.

Hey Kris... I didn't know that Queen's POB I sells Bariatric Advantage stuff...lol...I was just about to order some this weekend, too! Thanks for the heads up, even if it wasn't my post...lol. Have you ever tried the Beneprotein powder? I heard about it was going to order if from Walgreens.com, it's $10.99 for the canister. I was thinking that I was just going to add that to my Crystal Light...but I was wondering if it had a weird taste or smell (because I'm so traumatized by Nectar...lol). Dana

Yes I do use a scoop (or two) of the Beneprotein powder in my protein drinks to kick up the protein count. No weird taste or smell like the Nectar brand. I'm not sure how it's going to mix/taste with Crystal Lite, I've never tried. I'm not sure if Walgreens.com delivers to Hawaii though, you might want to double check.

I'm not sure how much the Beneprotein costs at Queens, I have a friend on the mainland that sends it to me by the case. I just saw the can on the shelf next to the Bariatrics Advantage bottles. I haven't seen it on island other than there, if you do find it let me know!

Longs carries liquid~12.99 a bottle usally on the top shelf. It is pink blue and white i think it may be called calexcel or something. Or wal mart carries Citracal chewables 5.99 for a box of 30 they are 600mg calcium citrate each. Hope that helps.
