You're telling me...lol...and to start my week off on just the right note my car got stolen at 1 am I guess that's God's way of telling me that I was due for my Mercedes...lol. I can't believe these hooligans...they stole it 5 feet from my OPEN garage. Oh well...thank goodness we have another car but today was hectic, we had to run around to go get my hubby his new DOD ID's and other stuff from work that were in the car (grrr...another Ipod and Leatherman). Glad today is over...

Yikes! Sorry to hear about your car, I know it IS a pain in the butt to have to replace everything and report what's missing to the police, etc. People now-a-days aren't afraid of getting caught anymore, it's crazy! Pass & ID must've been fun...usually Mondays it's really slooooow and the workers there are so rude!

Lol...that's what we thought about the Pass & ID. We were soooo wrong. The parking lot was packed to the brim and cars were parked all the way up to the third residential street. I think they had to process a bunch of contract workers and it was pure insanity. We ended up getting my dad to take us into base to pick up paperwork and then going to get it by the NCO club. Whew...it took from about 9am till 1 pm or so to just get that crap done. Police wasn't so bad...especially considering that it was 5:30 in the morning and they probably didn't have anything better to do...lol.

I am so sorry they got the car. What jerks. I hope they get caught. I have been robbed in one form or another a total of 7 times and it is so frustrating. I think the worst was when our home was robbed. I still look for any signs that someone has been in the house before I enter. I am really glad I have my dogs to bark if someone is outside. They are small, but at least they are good guardians and alert me if someone is lurking around. They are very protective of the house. I hope you get your car back in good shape.

Lol...like I told my hubby...it was just a sign that you need to get me my Mercedes sooner than we wanted to. But that is definitely an experience I don't want to go through again. Either way, if they return it, it's gonna be sold. If they don't recover it by Saturday, we're going car shopping. I'm glad that we'll be getting dogs when we move into our new house...hubby wants a big dog, the kiddos want a small dog. Dunno where to compromise with that....I think we'll end up with two...lol. Thanks so much for the sympathy though...lol...I really want to wallow in self pity for a few minutes and forget today even happened...it was wild...lol.
