Vitalady??

Just wondering...has anyone here ordered from VitaLady? I placed an order on August 31st for some samples and power crunch bars. Basically, to make a long story short, they emailed me today....TODAY!!...and told me that I need to pay $4.00 for additional shipping costs. I was kinda irate...I mean, the website doesn't have any disclaimer that the shipping costs may be more if you live in certain areas. Their resoning behind the additional $4.00 is that I am in an area that is "non-standard shipping." I've checked the USPS website and I found that Hawaii is only $0.50 more shipping versus anywhere in the continental US for Priority Mail for any package under 2 pounds. Now tell me can a few protein samples and a few bars weigh over 2 pounds? I honestly don't think so. I ordered two CASES or protein from WLSsupplies.com and the total shipping for all of that was $10.00, I know for a fact that this box weighs more than the box from VitaLady. Sorry...just needed to vent... because the long response was horrendous. I mean...are they saying it took them 8 days to get the order ready??? That's so retarded. Sorry for venting to yall... Dana

Hey Dana - have you tried bariatriceating.com. They are pretty reasonable. I do hate when companies try to rip us off because we are in Hawaii. I wish they would just use the USPS flat-rate box if it fits. It is only $7.95 - no matter where its going. (well - maybe just in the US)
