Starbucks anyone?? ~ Hawaii people lets get together!!!!!!!!

Ok ladies, I am new to Hawaii. I have been here since April and am missing having OH friends to gather with. So who's up for a morning get together at Starbucks? I drop my kids off at school at 7:40 AM, so any time after that and any day is good for me. If you have little ones not in school, no worries. Bring them! There are many starbucks that have outside seating and the new one over by the NEX Mall at Pearl Harbor has a huge outside area they can play around in. Lets decide on a date, time and location and just do it! Pre-op or post-op doesn't matter. We all have something in common so lets get together and talk about how its changed our lifes and how we are dealing with issues relating to surgery, swap recipes and be in good company! Who's interested?

I'm game...let me know when and I'll see if I can make it. My friend who isn't on OH may also be interested...she had the Lap-Band a year ago and may be interested. Dana

I'm all for it. The new one by the NEX is super convenient for me. Mornings work better for me. Just let me know when!!

Ok Ladies, just three of us so far but thats ok we will be in good company and have a great time. Lets pick a day this week!! I am flexiable on the day. The only thing I have going is on Tuesday and Thursday I would need to leave by 11 for class. So what day works for you guys???

Okay...I'm flexible with any day because I'm off every morning. The one by the NEX is fine for me too, it's not that far from where I'm at. Just let me know what you two decide and I'll stop by and hang out with yall for a little while. Dana

Ok, since today is almost over it pretty much eliminates tomorrow. So how about Wednesday or Thursday??? Around 9 ish? 10 ish? Give me a day and time. I am soooo flexible. *smile*

Any day is fine for me....I work evenings so I'm off every and all mornings so I'm pretty flexible too...lol. What about you Jessica??? And I'll ask my friend if she can make it...she's a year post op (LapBand) and struggling. I hope she doesn't have class that day...she really needs to meet some WLS folks. Dana

Yea Im GAME! And Kim what is sooo funny is that my best friend had her surgery by Dr.Clark about 4-5 years ago! I attended all of my classes by Dr. Clark but still took me this long to come around and actually do it. And Dr. Clark is in Newport News and I am from Newport News. But yes. Let me know when this is going down and I will be there unless it is Wednesday. I have an appointment with my sons school that morning. Thursday morning is good. And Jessica,...if we do this Thursday morning, we can go to beach right after? Steffie

Well it looks like Thursday it is? Jessica does that work for you?? Dana, do you think your friend would be able to come on Thursday? Anybody else wanna come?? You don't have to be a coffee drinker to come! I am very excited about this. Steffie, what a small world! We lived in Suffolk for three years and I worked over in Newport News. I just love Dr. Clark and his whole staff. It was a true blessing I was able to get to go through him. I was scheduled to have surgery at the Naval Hospital in Portsmouth but after a two year wait they finally let me see Dr. Clark. Anyway, I hope Thursday works for everyone......... if not lets throw another day around and see if we can come up with something. Kim

Kim... Thursday is fine for me...I'm about to call Jenn, my friend, in a little while and ask her if she's availiable. So yeah, if she is then I'll stop by with her and if she isn't then I'll come by anyways I'll have to bring my little monster with me...we're stuck at the hip...lol. Hope to see yall on Thursday! Dana
