Getting Ansy hehe

Well my pre-op is done, I flew to Oahu for that Monday. Everything is ready to roll I arrive in Honolulu August 8th and am going to take my husband on a little tour of the North shore where I grew up then off to my Auntys then the next morning 10 am surgery!!!!! I cannot wait, I am so excited especially after hearing from Karen's son today!! I am so happy she is doing well!! Anyhooo now I am rambling like usual Take care everyone Alooooooohaaaa Shannon

Shannon, you're so close!! You're on your way. I can't wait! Our little board here is growing all the time with post ops! Yippee! I hope we can all catch up with each other one day or another. Maybe for the OH conference in Nov. I can't wait to hear of your and Karens successes! We're all going to do so fabulous. Just imagine how fantastic this Christmas is going to feel to us! We're all going to be so energetic, and be feeling great about ourselves!! I cannot wait! Hang in there hun, August 8th is sooooo close and you'll be there before you know it. Aloha Shannon from your Maui sister in WLS! I'm happily home and very tired, but feeling wonderful otherwise. I am testing the protein drinks a little and sipping lots of water all the time. So far no throwing up or feelings of fullness that are uncomfortable. Surgery day was not bad at all. My son was with me right up until they wheeled me into the operating room. He kissed me and they put a mask over my face and said breath deeply, and that's all I remember until they woke me in the recovery room. After that it's kind of a blur....just a lot of people in and out of the room asking questions, giving me water (after the nasty taste test), and not letting me sleep. Right now I'm pooped after typing this...so going to cut it short. I'm so happy for you and that you have pre op over and are on your way. I will know EXACTLY what is happening to you on the 9th, so will be with you all the way. With much aloha, Karen
