Any military here????

:help: Im just wondering if there are any military persons here that can answer a question for me. I have had the surgery over a year ago and have lost my weight very slowly. I am happy with that but I would like to start searching for a plastic surgeon who takes Tricare. Is there anyone here that could help me????? girl i am!! live on schofield barricks and had wls 7 mnths ago .down 140 lbs. need to be at 140 before i think they will consider plastics. i need tummy tuck and thight work.im starting my job today and have no time but i will write or email you later on what ive found out. if ur prime theres only one...yes one...plastic surgeon at tripler and there is a wait list because he travels as well. but if they can prove medical nesecity to my knowledge they will assit with some or all of the plastics. i will write tonight after work or email. good luck and i look forward to talking and helping you. we can maybe even get the same appt day and go togther. i will wait on a list forever if there gonna cover it!!!!

Aloha Melody....I am so happy that Teresa answered your post. She is a sweetheart and lives right on the same island as you. I am on Maui and scheduled for surgery on July 26th. I have to fly to Honolulu for my pre op on the 18th and then back again on the 26th. As for plastic surgery, I only know that a woman here on Maui had a "belt" PS done on her belly..it went all the way around her body, they pulled up from the top and down from the bottom and sewed it together.. She looks fabulous!! She will be able to wear a bikini......flat belly and tight skin on her back. So awesome. Welcome to the Hawaii forum. Aloha, KarenS

I wish I knew an answer to your questions, but I'm on a neighbor island Kauai and have just begun my journey (surgery on the 30th) and I don't know a thing yet!!!
