Just got surgery date!! Yeehaw!

Aloha from Karen on Maui.......Just got a call from Kaiser saying I have July 26th for my surgery date. My surgeon will be Dr. Weber. I have heard such good things about him, so I'm delighted that he will be doing the surgery. It has been such a long haul getting to this place, and now I am actually counting down the weeks and days. I will be needing to stay in touch with all of you even more now. Thanks for being there. Aloha.....Oh, I am so thrilled to hear from you. I just looked over your profile page and wow, I am so impressed. You are an inspiration. I will go back and look at that over and over as my surgery date approaches...so much great infomration. I, too, have cleared out my pantry and have only protein drinks, jello, soups, puddings, etc. that are allowed after surgery. I haven't started using them yet, but probably will as I get closer to my date. I will be with you on your June 30th date!! And I can't wait to hear how it goes for you. HUGS, Karen

Thank you so much Karen!! I can't believe anyone's actually reading my profile.. LOL.. I get sooo wordy, and seem to say it all (interpreted... way too much - people don't want to know the color of the sky while I'm at it!) lol!! Thank you so much for your kind heart and wishes for me. I'm so excited to get this done and over with - everyone's making comments now - dh and the kids - even though the kids don't know - they know mommy's on a weight loss journey and my dd just told me yesterday, I can't wait till you're skinny like me...Awwwww... Then Dh saw a lady in a cute little flippy summer dress, and commented, I can't wait till it's you wearing that! I was thinking the same thing, but it kinda shocked me to hear him say it! I'm getting close now! I started liquids of my own accord today, cause I know in the last 5 months I've had enough "last" suppers to kill my pre-op weight guidelines of not gaining even 1 pound!!! PLUS, I can't resist the idea of shrinking my liver down for the doctor - it's one less thing to be worried about.. Can't wait to hear more about your journey as well Karen... (((HUGS))) TinK
