New Pictures and WOW
Ok this probably happened a while ago, but today while getting out of the shower I noticed I could wrap a normal sized bath towel all the way around me and it overlapped almost 12 inches! I cannot ever remember being able to do that before.
Other Wow moment happened today,...I was at the swap meet looking at clothes and the lady assumed I was a size Medium. I'm not quite a Medium in all things YET but it sure was nice that she thought so.

Hi Steffie!!!! You have done so awesome with your WLS!!!!!
You have lost so much weight in such a short time!!! Are you almost at your goal weight? It sure seems like it!!!
May I ask how tall you are? I'm 5 feet tall and weighed 261 pounds on the day of
my WLS which was January 10, 2005. I still need to lose another 20 pounds, but I
think I have passed that so-called "window" that my surgeon spoke of. He said it
was between 12-14 months post op. But I'm still happy if I don't lose the additional weight, but I'm not giving up!!
You must look simply awesome!!!! I can also wear mediums and even some smalls depending on the style and brand. I still have to wear a few larges depending on the brand. Actually, I buy a lot of stuff from QVC!!!! My poor postman!!!
Take care and continued success!!!
Love and aloha, Pat
Steffie, congratulations!!!! That is one of my dreams, to be able to wrap a towel around myself completely... and 12 inches to spare!?!?!?! You go girl!! I've so enjoyed watching your progress through your pictures and thoughts. You have done so amazing. I can only hope I will have similar success.... Thanks for the inspiration, and you keep it up!! You're almost there!
Going to look at your new pics now................................

Steffie, you look BEAUTIFUL!!!!! Absolutely gorgeous! I bet your hubby is disappointed to be leaving you! lol... He'll come back and you'll be all the more ravishing. When's his deployment? I love your little (for the moment) boxer! What a cutie!
Congrats on all your hard work, it must be thrilling to have come so far and fairly quickly too... you are amazing! Keep up the excellent work!
Thanks for your kind words. My husband will be leaving soon. I do not want to say exactly when for security. My husband got on me about OPSEC regulations the other day so I am trying to be mindful of that.
I am looking forward to bringing my puppy home, but NOT looking forward to the puppy housebreaking. I might go and get him tonight and have him stay the night again. Last time I did that I didn't get a wink of sleep LOL. They are like newborn babies.
I have to get of of here and clean my bunnys cage. He sure does stink that thing up in no time flat!
Steffie
Steffie...You look amazing and are doing such an awesome job with your weight loss. I bet you didn't think the weight would fall off as fast as it has for you?!!!
I didn't know you were getting/got a puppy!! Congrats and good luck!! We used an expandable fence type cage when we housebroke our dog--it took no time at all. Every couple weeks we gave him more and more room in it, and if he went potty we took that extra space away----to start out he had room for his bed and a pee pee pad!!! It was nice because it didn't have a bottom, it just sat on the floor. Good Luck
