important question for kaiser members!

I really need to know if when you go to your actual surgery and they do your pre-op tests do they drug test you. My husband has chronic pain and smokes marijuana I am ALWAYS around and I need to know if I have to stay away? Please help me I would hate to be sent home for THC levels in my blood stream. I would be so MAD! So I need some input please. Thanks, how embarrasing sorry

Hi, I've been through orientaton and was accepted a year ago but postponed surgery in hopes of getting a lap band thru Kaiser. Regardless, never have I heard mention of drug tests, but I know they want you alcohol free. Hope that helps. Not to worry. Marion
