Topic: OH National Atlanta Conference in Oct.
Hello Friends!
I’m helping out OH by coordinating the fashion show models for the October Atlanta Conference. Below is some information they’d like you to know so you can come join us and show off on the catwalk!
Remember, EVERYONE is invited to participate, men and women. All you have to do is bring an outfit you’d like to be photographed in.
Email to [email protected] your photos and information:
· High resolution before and after photos
· Your full name, OH screen name, surgeon, surgery type and (optional) amount of weight lost
This is your chance to shine and to show everyone what a great job you’ve done. It’s also a way to let the community know who your surgeon is.
PM me if you have questions, or email [email protected]. We will be accepting your photos and info until early September, but don’t wait too long!
Thank you!

Topic: Peachtree Surgical & Bariatrics Patients out there
Hello all I just had my surgery july 16,2012 and was wondering if there are any other patients from Peachtree Surgical & Bariatrics. My surgeon was Dr. Larry Hobbs and he was great. I feel like they where the best choice for me.

Surgery changed my life also. Because my husband sees the benifits of the surgery he now wants to have WLS and I am so happy that he will be able to. Thanks for this information.

To answer your question, I was able to see a psych dr. close to my home....I live 2.5 to 3 hours from my doctor depending on Atlanta traffic. My dr's office told me it had to be from a licensed psychologist so I looked at my husband's insurance and found someone 2 miles from home. I would ask the surgeon's office and let them know that traveling is a factor.
And to the other person who posted such a nasty rude message....you need to get over yourself. There are people like myself who has been unemployed for over a year and after working 19 years its been very hard to get my foot in the door somewhere else. Surgery was my last option and Thank God my husband had good insurance which allowed me to have it or I'd be in the same position. And also...after copays, hotel bills and adjustments to insurance....I'm $1,500 into this surgery.....and that's having GREAT insurance....so don't judge a book by its cover until you know the whole story.
Good Luck to you and I hope it all works out!
