2013: 20 Funny New Year's Resolutions
When it comes to New Year's resolutions, our family members and friends can get quite creative and even funny with what they resolve to do in the New Year. Here a few good ones I have heard along the way...Oh, and a few of my own!
1. I resolve to stop procrastinating about procrastinating!
2. I will stop sending Facebook messages and emails to my loved ones when they are in the same room as I am!
3. I will use my treadmill for something other than a place to hang my jacket.
4. I will not sit at the kitchen table in my PJ's all day. Instead, I will move my computer to my bedroom.
5. I vow to never take a laxative and a sleeping pill on the same night!

I am looking for a support group around the Columbus area or not far from it. I can not attend my surgeon's due to him being 2 hrs away and me having two toddlers. I really would like to get into a support group I just had my surgery on December 4th. I had the RNY done. Any info would be greatly appreciated! Thank you!
How did your surgery go? Excited to find out! I am thinking about going with your doctor, too.
You have already gotten the best advice. Recovery was not bad painwise. The most difficult thing for me was getting the fluids, protein and supplements in for the first few months. Other than that, I would say getting the support you need either in person or here, preferably both at least initially. Then be patient because there will be periods of time when you are doing everything right and don't lose. The surgery is not a quick fix but a lifestyle change. Finally try to plan what you are going to eat daily so that you don't get hungry and desperate and grab at the first thing you see.
