So this same time last yr. I was excited. I got my band and was so filled with hopes and dreams of the future. I tried to picture where I would be this same time next yr.
Well let me tell u..............THIS IS NOT WHAT I PICTURED!!!
It has been a yr. since I got the lap band. 13 fills. Restriction? NO!
So I have completely wasted all this time and money on the band!!!
If u already have a band.............best of luck to u!
If u are just considering the band..............People please, choose your WLS wisely! I wouldn't want u to end up like me!!!

I don't think getting dizzy is normal. Not something that I ever did. I would check with your doctor.

I'm not on any medicines, and my blood pressure was normal the last time I checked. I guess I just assumed everyone got dizzy when eating this little on a daily basis :(

Not yet- I kept thinking it would go away, and didn't want to make a fuss over a normal side effect. But it hasn't gone away, and is becoming bothersome.

I've put the recurrence of this meeting on my calendar. Though I'm having my surgery in Johns Creek, NSForsyth is closer to home. I'll drop in sometime in the future.

Your welcome.... Just remember the first 9 months are critical... as you will loose the most amount of wt. Make sure you capitalize on it....
Oh I've seen those posts... and "some" folks are way way off on their eating IMHO. My doc doesn't have a full time NUT because he is much stricter and it's hard to find one he agrees with... I started with your doc(he is great and cute) but because of some paperwork issues I wound up with my doc...and I'm glad he was strict.

Oh I've seen those posts... and "some" folks are way way off on their eating IMHO. My doc doesn't have a full time NUT because he is much stricter and it's hard to find one he agrees with... I started with your doc(he is great and cute) but because of some paperwork issues I wound up with my doc...and I'm glad he was strict.

Topic: Support Group Cancelled November 13
This month's Second Saturday support meeting at Henry Medical in Stockbridge will be cancelled.
I am having surgery (not wls related) next Thursday and will not be able to make it.
I will see everybody next month on December 11th at the Christmas party.
CallMeMsE should be putting out an official invite soon, so make sure you rsvp. She is planning a great evening for us!
