Glad your home now. Early out I did the Crystal Light popcicles. That would feel good on your throat also.

Good luck!

Topic: Obesity and Self Esteem..............Operation Beautiful
Because so many of us have issues with self esteem as a result of years of obesity or morbid obesity, I thought this was a wonderful way of making others feel special..............if only for a minuit.

Operation Beautiful…….An Inspiring Blog for ALL Women

FormerlyFluffy

On Twitter I recently became familiar with Operation Beautiful. I love the concept! Here’s some info about it from their website.

The mission of Operation Beautiful is to post anonymous notes in public places for other women to find. The point is that WE ARE ALL BEAUTIFUL. You are enough… just the way you are!

The Mission

The goal of the Operation Beautiful website is to end negative self-talk or “Fat Talk."  If this little blog only does one productive thing, I hope it helps readers realize how truly toxic negative self-talk is  — it hurts you emotionally, spiritually, and physically.

Through my own experiences fighting Fat Talk, I’ve realized the power behind an anonymous act such as Operation Beautiful.  When I post a note, I’m saying, “I CHOOSE to be positive!"

I began Operation Beautiful by leaving positive messages on the mirrors of public restrooms — at work, at the gym, at the grocery store.  I scribble down whatever comes to mind — “You are beautiful!" or “You are amazing just the way you are!"  My personal goal is to leave as many Operation Beautiful notes as I can. Maybe some people read them and just smile, but I bet some people are truly touched by the effort of a random stranger.

Operation Beautiful is simple: all you need is a pen and a piece of paper. If you want to join the mission, send me an e-mail at [email protected] with a photograph of your Operation Beautiful note or a description of your experience, and I’ll post it on the Operation Beautiful site for thousands of others to read and enjoy!

Topic: I MADE IT THROUGH!!!! NOW ON LOSER'S BENCH
I had my surgery on Tuesday and came home yesterday. All went well except they had a problem intubating during surgery which my surgeon said was very scarry. I am feeling pretty good. My throatis pretty soar from the struggle they had with my tube, but other than that, I have had very little pain, only a few minor gas pains. I am now trying to walk and sip, sip, sip. I am still a little tired after I get up for a few minutes and have to rest.
Thanks for all your prayers and well wishes. So happy to be on the loser's bench.

Thank you all for the responses.  I will try them all because I think it is the hiatal hernia that is really bothering me (which never bothered me before)....go figure.  I am working on it as hard as possible because I want this to work.  I pushed myself entirely too much lately too.  With all of my shopping and cleaning I have really made myself sore and I want to go the gym so bad but I know I can't.

I am going to be better getting on here and updating everything.  I still can't do a picture because it always says fille too big.  I have tried from 2 different computers.  Any ideas????

Good afternoon Nikki,

I am scheduled to have mine done on 01/21/2011, I had RNY 6 years ago 296lbs down to 180lbs.  I now weigh 203lbs.  I would like to loose the 20lbs that I've gained this year due to anxiety medication that causes the munchies.....lol.

Please follow up with me to let me know how you're doing.  I would really appreciate it.

Thanks,
