I'm a banded loser

I got my band installed on Wednesday. I'm an official loser now. My recovery has gone well. I've had a little pain, but the most uncomfortable part is getting rid of the gas. I'm not hungry at all and have to remind myself to drink my food. I'm doing great with the water as it seems to pass right through, but cream soup and juices sit for a while. I can actually hear them going through my openening. It's really wild. I've lost 8 lbs since Wednesday. I'm sure the majority of it is water weight, but it's still weight. My swelling is finally going down. I looked like I had swallowed a basketball the day I came home from the hospital. I've been walking and sipping and walking and sipping for 3 days now. I'm going to try and venture outside the house today. Wish me luck!!

Good luck and take your time. I'm not very family with the band process, but I know that post op we all can get a little ahead of ourselves sometime, trying to rush the recovery. Should you need anything, please let us know. I think I speak for the board when I say we'll do whatever we can to help.
