Anyone have a child after surgery?

I just found out i am having a baby. does any one have any advise

A good friend of mine had WLS about 4 years ago. Also had CP. She has had two beautiful healthy precious little girls age 3 and almost 1. She has also kept the weight off.

My son is 11 weeks old..

check out the Post-op pregnancy board there are many women on there who got pregnant at different times after surgery, one just a MONTH post-op and her little boy is doing great! Ashe 278/161/138?

How far out are you from your surgery? I know that they ask that you not get pregnat for @ least 1 yr after the surgery. I would definatly call and talk to your surgions office and see what they say. I'm not being negative. I just want you and your baby to be healthy. CONGRATS!!!!! Jamie Wilson
