2 WOW moments that made my day.

While I was at the vets this a.m. getting my 3 fur babies their heartguard, the girl said you have really been loosing weight and I wanted to tell you, you are beautiful and look great, I told her about my surgery in January of this year, and told her my age and and her face got RED and she said you are not 60 years old, I thought you about 40-45 years old. Than she said I hope I look as good as you when I am 60 going on 61. I told her thank you and she made my day today. She said she use to weigh over 227 pounds and she really had to work hard at loosing the weight, she thought she never would, it took her several years after her baby was born, but to look at her you would have never thought, so we should not judge a book by its cover, right PEOPLE. Than at the resturant, Mom took us out for lunch today, said your eyes are bigger than your belly. I said well I had surgery and have lost over 60 pounds since Jan. of this year. And she said WOW that is great, her friend had the surgery a few years ago and was bigger than me and now she is smaller than she is. So 2 WOW's in one day. Makes you feel that people are noticing that it is dropping. I myself can't see it in the mirror, but I sure can in clothes I put on. And Praise God all the 28s and 26s and 24s are all gone, and I am in 22s and they are starting to get a little loose, too. Even though I am not loosing as fast as you young ones I am loosing, and I am sooooo haaappppyyyy with the scales moving down and not going to the 400s like they were inching to before. God bless each of you, and don't give up, even at my age you can do it, just be patient and give the surgery the chance to do the job it is supposed too. And don't rush into starting new foods so early out give the poouchy time to heal. God will take care of the rest. Oh! I forgot one more WOW moment at the Dollar Store, my Mom wanted to see about a top, and I went in with her, and the local preachers wife saw me and said, Boy, girl you sure are loosing and looking good. And I thanked her and she already knew I had the surgery, but I think maybe she forgot. And I was in a hurry and she was in a hurry. WOW, 3 in one day, this is really the first time I had so many coming in all directions in one day. Thought I'd blow my own horn for once in my life. Hugs, Lynda
