Insurance Question

I called Blue Cross of Georgia and they said that my husband's insurance does not cover this surgery. Do they tell that to everyone ? They said each employer can select if they want to include this coverage or not and that my husband's company does not. Is this correct ? As anyone else had a similar situation ? Thanks for your help. Donna
