Questions!Questions! and more questions~!
Hello All! I am scheduled for my procedure on 5/22/2006 and wondered if anyone who has had the surgery can tell me what to look for as far as loose skin around the mid section. I dont have a huge stomach but its starting to hang a bit.
Also, what is the normal amount of weight lost from the procedure. I have viewed quite a few profiles but no one who was in the weight range that I am. I am 335lbs and 5 ft 8 1/2. If anyone can help, help a sistah out.
I am also seeking friends to be there through out this process. I posted a few weeks ago and got 1 response from a wonderful lady name Tammy. If there are any sincere people out there who can walk through this process with me, please respond.

Hi Sonya,
I started this journey at 322. I am 5'9". Seems we are close in size.
I am almost 11 months out. Today I weigh 186. I started at a size 30/32 and am now an extra large or large. In all honesty, I look horrible naked. I have a lot of skin hanging and in 2 places on my tummy it looks like it is still connected so it pulls. My breasts look fine in a bra, that's all I will say about that. My upper arms are my main concern, at 45 years old it is not likely that I would ever want to wear a bikini or a mini skirt but I would LOVE to be able to wear sleeveless shirts, and right now I can't. And my inner upper thighs are pretty lose but I never had heavy legs.
There are so many variables in how your skin will react. Your age, your heredity, skin elasticity...
But I look good in some of my clothes
I'm always around, if you ever need to talk or have questions I might be able to help with just give me a shout ok?
Wishing you the very best, with God's Blessings,
Barb
