Support Group Meeting in Columbus GA

Hi Everyone... Wanted to let everyone know, if you don't know. There is a WLS support group here in Columbus, GA. We meet the third Thursday of each month at St. Francis Health Matters at 6:30 p.m. EST. Our Next meeting is Thursday, April 20th at 6:30 pm EST. Hi Lea, I posted a reply to Lisa in an earlier email but wanted to add here... I just wanted to add a big invite as well to everyone since I attend those meetings. It is a great group of people and we would love to meet some new faces at whatever stage of the process you are at in the surgery. Even if you have family/friends that are concerned or have questions for/about you having/had the surgery may come as well. Everyone has a total different experiance with the process but it is good to know that we are all together and can share what we have learned. Share tips and advice, and be positive support as we go. Dana, Its nice to hear from you. I remembered you after looking at your pictures. You sat by me at my first meeting, before I even had the surgery. My husband was with me. He is in the military too. ( I hope that was you and I am not confusing you with someone else.) Well, I have went through the support group leader program with Obesityhelp.com. It was really interesting.
