Help - seeking info on bpd/ds surgery

I am interested in having this specific surgery but have only found a very few doctors in Georgia who perform it. The one surgeon my insurance will cover has only performed it 20 times since his surgical residency. I am very interested in hearing from any patients in Georgia who have had it.

Tammy, I sure that everyone thinks their doctor is the best. I know that mine is. LOL I used Dr. Dennis Smith, you need to check him out before you use anyone else. He is the greatest. It's good to personally hear from one of his patients. I am planning to attend the info meeting on May 4th at 6pm. I spoke with his office yesterday and it seems they only charge their patients the "in-network" copay, which is great! The office staff is sooooo helpful and friendly, I bet I called 5 times yesterday and they were just as happy to talk to me the 5th time as the 1st. Will you be at the meeting?
