New to Austell Ga.

Hello i am new to Austell, i had my surgery almost 2 years ago i am down about 150lbs. i got 20 lbs more to go. i am looking for friends and support groups in the area/. Can someone help?

Hi Angela You can call 404-265-6495 and they should be able to tell you their times for the support group. I have been to a few of them and I really enjoyed them.

I live in south Smyrna and would love to meet folks close by next door to Mableton and about 15 minutes from Austell (at least the place I volunteer at). I'm pre-op because I need to re-do the 6-month doctor-supervised diet because the doctor I asked to give me a referral took it upon himself to "supervise" my diet with 3-month weigh-ins and bloodwork. The insurance; however, requires monthly weight ins. So, the first 6 months doesn't count. Sure would have been a time-saver to have mentioned that to someone who might have realized I was wasting time! Sue
