what to eat

I am having surgery on 4/11/06 . What do I need to get to have home to eat?

It depends on your surgeon's instructions. I was on liquids for a week after surgery, then moved onto pureed for a week, then soft, and then started introducing in solids. You will probably need to have some form of protien, sf jello and pudding, sf popsicles, broth, bouillon, or ff cream soups. I also started 2 tums and 2 flinstones complete chewable vitamins per day. It really does depend on your surgeon. I myself was instructed to be on liquids for three wks, then on pureed and very soft food's for three wks. I'm two mos. out and I must say, that bedause of some bad experiences, I still eat soft over cooked food's mostly. Hope that help's, Ev
