I Am just cusrious what is the average loss on 7 - 18 mth after surgery? I know alot of factors play into this but I am just wondering on average what the loss is....

I have read that the average loss is 85% of the excess weight.
You were right that a lot of factors play into how much weight you will lose.

alot goes into this ...Such as i lost only my 62% and never lost more than that as of right now and i am almost two years out ....So it can vary totally from the person to the surgen to anything

Hi, like others said, I think it can vary for any number of reasons. I had my surgery on Nov 8, 2004 and have lost over 100% (my goal was 145 and I'm at 135 now)...though now I think my goal is 125 (I'm 5'4").
