Can I hear from Atlanta?

Hi, I'm looking into transferring to Atlanta with my company... Hewitt Associates. What is he support like in Atlanta For WL Patients? I recently had surgery and will need to get intouch with a good Dr. if I relocate. Any advise.. Thanks

Atlanta has ALOT of very excellent surgeons to choose from. As far as support groups, there are several, but we here on OH.com, have a monthly get together, and (if I do say so myself) we are a great group of folks... We have a great time together, and someone from somewhere around GA always steps up and hosts the get togethers... Luckily, they are all over and all have good turn outs. IT is a great way to meet new folks, and I have made some of the best friends ever through our GA Board family.... And everyone is always welcomed with open arms... Hugs, Susan

There are many good surgeons in Atlanta. I use Dr. Maynard. His staff and him are wonderful people and have a good support group that meets monthly. The website is: http://www.samabariatrics.com/index.htm
